In a dynamic and powerful game of two excellent sides that promote teamwork and fast pace, the Czechs were first to threaten. German goalkeeper Heinrich proved his class on several occasions, while on others it was a matter of the lack of concentration on behalf of the Czech strikers. However, the first half saw no goals. Visitors in the almost packed hall had to wait until 35th minute to see a goal by Turtenwald which gave the Czechs additional boost for the final and decisive minutes of the match. On the wings of the first goal the Czechs scored once more and seized the bronze! The Germans managed to score in the dying minutes of the game, too late!
