Three minutes from the end Cosmin Craciun sealed victory

Romania hit the post towards the middle of the second half while Slovenia struggled to create a more serious goal chance except from the rare fastbreak occasions. Romania’s efforts were fruitful – 38th minute saw Craciun Cosmin netting from the short range, with a heel-shot, which brought the Romanians the title of the European champion!
